Selection Guide Privacy Notice

What this page collects: nothing personal.
The /selectionguide/ pages are static content. There are no forms, no accounts, and no personal data is sent to ICOA servers from this page.
Cookies: none.
We do not set cookies. We store two non-identifying preferences in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers your choices on return visits:
icoa_lang— your chosen interface language (e.g.en,zh).icoa_os— the OS tile you selected on the install section (e.g.windows).
Both live only in your browser. Clearing your browser storage removes them. We never send these values anywhere.
Analytics: privacy-first, aggregated only.
We use Plausible, a cookie-free analytics service that measures only aggregate page views and referrers. No user IDs, no behavioural profiles, no cross-site tracking, no data resale. Plausible is GDPR-, CCPA-, and PECR-compliant without a banner.
Third-party embeds.
If a video is embedded later, we will use youtube-nocookie.com or a self-hosted player. No third-party tracking cookies will be set.
The exam itself.
The ICOA CLI runs locally on your computer and communicates only with practice.icoa2026.au during exams. It records only your answers, timing, and token — no name, no email, no device fingerprint — unless your national committee specifically requests additional data separately from you.
